Florida's health department reported 8,530 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. This is one day after Florida set a record of 9.585 new cases for a single day.
The state is confirming 141,075 COVID-19 cases and 3,419 deaths associated with the virus.
Governor Ron DeSantis will hold a press conference regarding COVID-19 from Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola at approximately 2:30 p.m. ET.

Palm Beach County - 13,389 cases
Monroe County - 219 cases
Hillsborough- 9,918 cases
Orange- 9,671
Statewide, there are at least 14,244 coronavirus-related hospitalizations confirmed since the pandemic began.
