Registration for this year's FL Python Challenge is open.
The annual competition is a conservation effort which allows hunters to remove the invasive species which is a threat to the Everglades ecosystem.
The hunter who removes the most pythons will be awarded 10-thousand dollars.
The competition runs from August 4th to 13th.
