The Boston Bruins (22-19-5) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (23-16-3) 6-2 on Tuesday night in Boston. The Lightning saw a four-game point streak end with a record of 3-0-1.
David Pastrnak had a goal and two assists to lead the way for Boston, who built a 4-0 lead to take control of this one. Tampa Bay got goals from Conor Geekie and Victor Hedman in the second period to pull within 4-2, before Boston added two more goals in the third period to pull away with the win.
The Lightning return home after a three-game road trip and whill host the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday night. Puck drop on Thursday is scheduled for 7:00 PM at Amalie Arena.
