Holiday Travel Crunch Kicks Into First Gear Across South Florida Today

The great Thanksgiving get-away underway by plane, train and automobile. Triple-A South Spokesman Mark Jenkins says four-and-a-half-million Floridians are expected to travel more than fifty miles from home this year setting a new record. Miami International also expected to set a hew holiday travel record with nearly two million fliers between today and December 2nd. Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando are top domestic travel destinations this year. There's no school next week in Miami-Dade or Broward.
