Stugotz & Company LIVE! react to last night’s NBA Draft and rip the league for the dog and pony show surrounding the 13th pick for the Miami Heat, Nate Ament. We all know he’s going to Milwaukee as part of the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade, but the poor kid had to wear a Heat hat and act like everything was normal.
Israel Gutierrez: “It doesn't make any sense to just not go ahead and bite the bullet and say okay, we know you're gonna be on Milwaukee. Let's make this a night about you and not a night about NBA rules and loopholes.”
John “Stugotz” Weiner: “So, that move can't become official until July 6. You're saying the calendars don't match up and some of these guys are having their draft night ruined. It's embarrassing.”
Israel: “Yeah! It doesn't happen very often but last night with (Nate) Ament it happened and it's just like why, why are we doing this ridiculous song and dance when we know which uniform you're going to be wearing.”
