There’s a Reason Luka Dončić Is Disliked

Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Dončić isn’t getting the respect he deserves as one of the greatest basketball players on the planet and seems to face some real vitriol from opposing fans in every area he outside of Dallas. Doug thinks he’s cracked the code on why European players like Luka haven’t managed to win the hearts of Americans despite their obvious talent on the court.

Doug Gottlieb: “I think Luka (Dončić) and (Nikola) Jokić, I think the difference there is...how they look, and how they move, and how they play, and the fact that they’re white guys in a sport that’s been dominated for our entire lifetime by people with darker skin.”
